Don’t worry. This post will teach you’re the basic steps you must take to fully surrender your life to Christ.  STEP 1: Acknowledgment of sin: This step is the first thing that must be done. To acknowledge your sin is to know that you are a sinner that need forgiveness for that you have committed.  That is, you truly know that you need to live a positive change life. “For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.” Psalm 51:3  STEP 2: Confession if sins: A man that need forgiveness for his past wrongs must confess to the offended. A sinner offends God every day and to obtain forgiveness from God, he must confess his sins to Him (God). “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9  STEP 3: Forsaking of sins: This is the step where many people miss it. In this step, you must renounce every form of sin and embrace Christ totally.  You must decide never to go back to those sins and you mean it. “He that covereth his sin shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them his sins shall have mercy.” Proverbs 28:13 STEP 4: Repentance: This is the state of feeling sorry for something that you have done. Repentance brings total forgiveness of every form of sin. When you truly repent from your evil doings, God cleanse and forget all your sin. There is no sin that He cannot forgive, therefore, make up your mind to surrender to Him in total repentance.  “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of God.” Act 3:19 STEP 5: Receive Jesus: Receiving Jesus implies that you renounce whatever you may have believed in time past and accept Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour. “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”  Revelation 3:20, John 1:12a Step 6: Believe: Trust in the atoning blood of Jesus to cleanse you and make you and new people that you ought to be. Believe that He alone has the key to life and to your future and without Him we are doom. John 1:12b, Romans 10:9, 10
