The senior Pastor of COZA, Biodun Fatoyinbo bows to pressure, step down after rape allegation from the Busola Dakolo.
According to him, the decision was made after much “counsel from Christian leaders around the world who feel very concerns about the ongoing reports in the media.”
He also said in the statement posted on his social media page that “it breaks my heart to tatter to stay a day without doing ministry I believe it is the right thing to do at this time.”
He added that “I have decided to take a leave of absence from the pulpit of the Church.”
Busola Dakolo, wife of popular musician, Timi Dakolo, during the week accused Fatoyinbo of having carnal knowledge of her when she was sixteen years old, but the Pastor has since denied the allegation.
Yesterday, Sunday 30th June, 2019 saw some Nigerians staged peaceful protest in the Church Lagos and Abuja branch, demanding that the pastor to step down from the pulpit of the Church.
