I decided to drop something very brief about my recent thought. What do some entertainers make money and have funds to show of their creativity, and others are just good at catching fun on stage and live out there without earn a living from their creativity and craft. Its so sad that have seen highly talented persons, even what some people described as the most anointed singers in the gospel sphere all live on an empty stomach despite how good they can sing, act, crack jokes, write, perform, etc.

I still think that there is need to get profits from what you do as entertainers, not minding whether its small or big. You need to get pay and live off your creativity. Most people I know years back use to share thoughts of a big career with results and resources they imagine, but fast forward to today they have either quit or looked for an alternative means of income while they casually do what we do. They were not getting paid and maybe never really understand the dynamics of getting to that point of career profitability.

I want to share a simple idea, and that a lot of us need to stop fantasizing and build our fanbase. I said to some entertainers sometime ago, our money is with our fans. They will pay to see you, recommend you to people, organizations, churches, vendors even government that can hire you for a fee. You start off as an entertainer performing for free, but those who will really start paying or recommending to get paid are your fans. You can’t be doing entertainment without having a cross class of fan base. Please in all honesty, ask yourself this; who is my fan? Who love to see you out there on stage, attend an event because of you, buy a ticket because of you, reject other options because of you, can go online and search your music or video for download. You need them and you must have a certain knowledge about some of them. The truth be told, you can’t know everyone who fan you or be up close and personal with them. But am saying you must be a sort of performer that has attracted attention, admiration, acceptance and followership from the public. Then some of them will now patronize or spend little on your brand.

Please stop fantasizing and imagining impossible vain thoughts when you ain’t working and delivering top notch performance to give you an edge in the public. You need a fanbase and not just fantasy. Dont even think your friends and family are your fans, they may not even pay for service, look beyond them, deliver high high performance consistently until likability from people who listen and watch can transient into payment and profits. The bottomline is for you to make people like you, want you, pay you, recommend you and do all these again and again. Please stop imagining vain things and teasing pleasant thoughts that are unreal, there are mere fantasies, instead get fans and build a fanbase. Thank you😘
