The convener of Nigerian Queen pageant, Kelvin Joseph Amroma and his family today remembered their late father who died 19 years ago.
According to Mr Kelvin who shared a emotional note on social media, said, it took him five year to realise that he had no father anymore. He also said that one of the biggest thing he took from his late father, Joseph Akpokomuaye Amroma is hard work and integrity.
On this day You left me (1999) when I needed you most. There where days I cried in secret, (I still cry anyways 😂) remembering the few experience i had with you even as a young boy.
It took me almost 5 years to Finally agree with reality that I had no father anymore.
One of the biggest gift/ Character I took from you is hard work and integrity. I never took that part of your humor ( such a funny man, ask his friends 😂) people keep saying I’m too uptight, even when I try not to be.
Love you Dad!
In the same vain, his sister, Ejiro Amroma Onosorhue said they have learnt to live without their father because that is the only option left for them.
19 years and counting, still feels like it was yesterday. Some wounds just don’t heal no matter how long it has been, we somehow learn to live with it cos that’s the only option we are left with. I miss you every day, some days are harder than others. How I wish you were here dad. God has been faithful to us your kids, I am grateful for how far He has brought us. Keep resting Joseph Akpokomuaye Amroma, you will forever remain my number one man.
