Co-host of Morning Cross Fire in NigeriaInfo FM Port Harcourt, Mary-Ann Duke Okon has taken to the social media to share her experiences with waking up early for her work and also advised Nigeria hustlers to always take care of themselves.
I woke up this morning at 3:50am to get ready for work but my body said no! I struggled to even get to the bathroom to brush my teeth still I couldn’t. Finally I gave in to the pain & decided to give my body a break. Sometimes it’s okay to listen to your body & rest. Good morning.
I hate having to miss work for whatever reason. I once worked for a whole week from 5-10am with a high fever, cough cold and sneezing. I had my brother over for the weekend and he was so mad at me that I prioritized my job over my health. But hey, he took care of me that weekend.
All I’m saying is, no matter how much you love your hustle and your job like me, your health is paramount. Cos if it gets out of hand, they’ll def find someone to replace you. But your life is important. Dear Naija hustlers, take care of yourselves first.
