At least three people are feared dead this morning when a loaded heavy duty truck lost control and fell at the Oyigbo Market.
The victims are still trapped under the fallen truck with no official rescue team seen hours after the truck fell. When contacted, Federal Road Safety Corps said they are on their way to the scene of the incident.
Rivers State Sector commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Edward Zamber said he has notified his counterpart in Abia State to deploy rescue officers to the accident scene in Oyigbo, Rivers state.
Oyigbo also Obigbo, is a town 30 kilometers from the port city of Port Harcourt and a Local Government Area of Rivers State, Nigeria.
Most internal roads in Oyigbo, Rivers state are in bad shape. A situation that has left most residents wondering if they are still part of Rivers state state.
