#Quotes of Dr. Creflo Dollar on a message title; ‘No More Self Righteousness’

The founder and senior pastor of World Changers Church International (WCCI) and World Changers Church-New York, Dr. Creflo Dollar was in House On The Rock Church, Cathedral Lekki, Lagos State during the 2018 edition of Spirit Life Conference [SLC] with the theme: Great Grace where he preached on the message titled: ‘No More Self Righteousness‘.

Below are the excerpts of his message:

What did Abraham do for it to be counted to him as righteousness? He believed God. His faith was counted for righteousness.

God has credited you with righteousness without you having to work for it. Stop sweating for the righteousness that is free.

The righteousness of God is a gift that must be believed in order to be received.

Faith without actions is dead, but actions without faith will kill you. John 6:29, your job is to believe on Jesus.

Nothing in true Christianity is earned. You access everything through simple faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ.

What did you do to become righteous? You believed and because you believed, you were made righteous. Jesus was made sin without sinful actions and when we receive the gift of righteousness, we become righteous without any good actions.

It is a blessing to have your sins removed because of the Blood of Jesus Christ. God will not impute sin to your account.

It is a blessing to have your sins removed because of the Blood of Jesus Christ. God is not imputing sin against you, He has charged it to the account of Jesus Christ.

The Grace of God will teach you how to live holy and righteous because the Holy Spirit is involved.

If God is not charging sin to your account, it’s because Jesus has paid for it, you need to thank Jesus for it

The reason you’re righteous is because of Christ and not your self-effort. He’s your redemption.

You will not be able to fulfill your calling if you allow the devil to shame you for not being good enough. When shame dominates your life, it will cause you to ultimately hide from God.

Ignorance of God’s righteousness makes you establish your own righteousness! It is sin when you try to earn righteousness because you’ve not submitted to the righteousness of God.

Righteousness by the law requires you to do something to earn that righteousness. But the righteousness which is by Faith requires you to believe and then you receive righteousness.

You need to stand up knowing who you are in Christ, you are the righteousness of God. Don’t allow your behavior determine your identity.

As a sinner, your good deeds did not change your identity. Your identity is determined by your choice of who occupies the inside of you. If Jesus lives in you, then you are the righteousness of God.

The most important thing a human being can do is to get born again; the most important thing a born again can do, is to renew their mind!

When you are saved but refuse to renew your mind, you misbehave. It is like a cellphone that is not constantly updated, the phone will start malfunctioning.

Self-righteousness is when people strive to get right with God on their own abilities. Christ can have no effect in your life when you are self-righteous.

Self- righteousness is trying to be like God, without God!

Religion is the same as self-righteousness.The Latin define the word Religion as ‘return to bondage’. Religion is the same as self righteousness , it’s man’s pursuit to make himself right before God.

The first characteristic of a self-righteous person is judging the sins of others while overlooking his own.

It’s okay to be the best Jesus made you to be.

The second characteristic of a self-righteous person is justifying himself by comparing himself with others.

You become a cheap copy of an authentic thing when you keep comparing yourself with other people.

A self-righteous person is not patient with people who struggle with sin. Paul did not condemn but reminded people who struggled with sin about who they are in Christ.

Condemnation is different from correction and it becomes the foundation of more sin.

A Self-righteous person believes he is right and he knows best. The greatest position a believer can be is the position of learning; a place of submission and humility to God.

The fourth characteristic of a self-righteous person is that he believes he is right and he knows best. The greatest position a believer can be is the position of learning; a place of submission and humility to God.

The fifth characteristic of a self-righteous person is that he does not respond well when reminded that he needs to change.

Walk graciously with those who don’t agree with you, people who don’t like you; show them what the grace of Jesus is all about.

May the blessings of God work on you. May they work through you and for you. You are blessed when you go in and out. You are blessed!
