The summit which kicked off on May 3rd, 2018 with focus on “Re-positioning for greatness” has grown to be a life changing summit as a result of its positions which are to discuss
interests like
personal development, business development, ethical issues, crime
reduction, academic excellence, the society and youths, et al. As well
as give networking opportunities and charity projects to the
participants and the society at large.

Speaking to BelieveAll.Com after the July edition which focused of ‘skills-acquisition’, the Doctoral candidate of Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (NIALS) UNILAG CAMPUS, Akoka – Yaba said: “The aim of The Real Encounter Leadership
Summit is to impact lives, build up human capacity development,
personal development, business development as well. We also want to
inspire, motivate and empower youths to be more meaningful to themselves
and to the society at large.”

Speaking
further, she said; “I am doing this as part of my Christian and social
responsibility. I’m doing it for the love of God and the love of
humanity, I want to help the youths in any area I can to enable them be
what they want to be in the society.
We
also coach and mentor youths in any area where there are challenges
whether in business or as a person, we try to help them in any avenue
they can become great in building a great brand for themselves.”

According to her, in each edition, she said,  “we have different things we teach them, we talked about ‘Re-positioning for greatness’, ‘Power of Self-Discovery’ and now ‘Skills-Acquisition’
with focus on soap making, make-up, etc and next edition, we hope to
teach the participants on how to use Ankara to make shoes and bags. We
may also be introducing photography and phone repairs.”

With many things in store to do, St. Amy
said  the major challenges facing the monthly free skills acquisition
are finance and getting the right facilitators who can inspire and
mentor the youths.

She
therefore call on the cooperate bodies, organizations as well as the
government to come and sponsor or partners with her to make the
programme a continuum.
