From our text Revelation 3:7-13. To the Church in Philadelphia

“To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: verse 7 - These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. Verse (8) I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. Verse (9) I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars—I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you. (10) Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth. Verse (11) I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. Verse (12) The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name. Verse (13) Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”

The study of God brings us contact with the spirit itself, it spread the truth, it penetrate the words of God in our lives so that, we can know the way of truth. It empowers us, it is the power of conviction. It makes us to work in the strength and way of the Lord. It comes to empowered us so that, on the day of rapture, we will not be missing out.

The word of God bring us contact to the Spirit itself. It explain the truth, it guide the truth. It enlighten our heart so that, we can know the truth. It empower us (The power for conviction.

conversion) to make us to continue in the way of the Lord. It empowered us by the grace of God on the day of rapture, we will be strong.
This is what the Lord is saying to the church of that time, to the church of today. If he condemned any heart, in behavior
and if he commence, appreciate anything and exhort at the end (Revelation 3:13) "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches".
The church is refers to a HOLY CHURCH for there is:
- No Condemnation.
- No Corruption.
- No Conformation.
- No Compromise.
- No Cowardice.
- No Contradiction.

This is a church, a faithful church. God open the door of opportunity to the people who are faithful unto him (Revelation 3:7).

Christ Irreproachable Perfection And Omnipotent: Revelation 3:7; Hebrews 7:26; Romans 11:16; Ephesians 2:21; Matthew 22:16; 1Peter 1:15; John 8:32;

The quality and the character of the Lord Jesus Christ. His words are true, his ways are truth.
* The attribute of Christ.
* The Quality of Christ.
* The Character of Christ.
* The very NATURE of Christ.
He that is Holy - The life of Christ (Characteristic)
* Essentially Holy
* Entirely Holy
* Eternally Holy
* Effective Holy.

He live a Holy life, He makes his followers holy. The very characteristic of Christ is HOLY (Harmless).

The foundation of the world. He make his followers holy:

He is holy and harmless, undefiled and separate from the sinners (Romans 11:16). If you are for Christ;
- He makes us holy(Romans 12:1)
- He makes us a living sacrifice (1Corinthians 15:1)
- He makes us holiness in love (Ephesians 2:21)
- He makes us holy temple unto the Lord (Revelation 3:11)
- He makes us holy in all manner of conversion (1Peter 1:15).

2. HE THAT IS TRUE - 1John 5:20. That we might love him, followed him that is true...Matthew 22:16. The attribute that
Christ is true.
- He transform his people.
- He gives us the characteristics of faith that make us true.

What change us, transformed us is the TRUTH. "Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free". For he had send the holy Spirit unto us (John 16:13)- The Spirit of truth ,God is true, Christ is true! The identification of Christ... the way he introduced himself to the church in the PHILADELPHIA.

Talking about the final authority of Christ. He has the key to the house of David. He that open, and none shall shut: and he shall shut, and none shall open".
In the book of Acts 4:27 ( About opening the door. In 2Corinthians 2:12 ( He opened the door). He hast the key to the mind of the people, He turn their heart around to the Lord.

Conquerors Irrevocable Privilege Of Opportunity:  Revelation 3:7-10; Matthew 17:20; John 17:6; Isaiah 49:23; Isaiah 60:14.

Christ knows your word, He knows your heart, He knows your conduct. If you are not converted, transparently holy. But if you open the door of your heart unto the Lord Jesus Christ, he said " Because thou hast kept the word of my patience. I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them at dwell upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth".
It is the grace salvation inside us that keep the word of God in us.

The identity of Christ, in Isaiah 22:22 (The key of David) it all about the final authority of Jesus Christ. He has the key of power ,the key of authority.

He that open no man shut, he that shut no man open. He open the door no man can't shut, Matthew 25:11. Christ has the key to that final day. The word of God, it changes and transformed, it totally saturate your life.

The final tribulation, talking about the faithfulness of giving yourself unto the Lord even with the little strength ,they have a obedience life with God, with the little strength you have OVER COMING POWER!

Christ Irreversible Promise To Overcomers: Revelation 3:11,12

" Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown". I am coming soon. Jesus Christ said,
Hold on to that fast to what you have.
Christ calls the church to continue to persevere . Because the coming of Christ is imminent, He charges us to “hold fast.”

This is a warning against caving in to pressures that violate integrity. Jesus says in effect, “Hang in there with Me. Don’t cave in toward the end of the race. We will do this together.”

In Hebrews 12:1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, in verse 2 "looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

That no one may take your crown. When Jesus comes, He will dispense rewards. He will examine the quality of our lives and reward us accordingly. It is possible to lose our “crown.” If we do lose our crown, Jesus will forfeit us of a certain kind of honor in heaven.
In Revelation 22:12 “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.”

As times get difficult, it becomes more arduous to serve Christ faithfully. Jesus will make no announcement about His coming. His coming will be unexpected and sudden. As hostility to Christianity becomes more aggressive, it will be
more forbidding to take a stand for Jesus. We will have to choose between our business and Jesus.
Pressures of society will force us to choose between status and Scripture. We will have to choose between our possessions and fidelity to Christ. We will have to “hold on” to our crown. Our crown is not our salvation; it is our reward for faithfully serving Him.

We need to keep an eternal perspective when times get difficult.
