Filled Under:

Who is Jesus to you?

Today, Christians all over the world are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ but there is need to know who Jesus is to humanity and to know made His birth a significant one over that have ever given birth to in the history of creation.

Many things have been associated with Christ which signifies that he is indeed the redeemer of the world.

His prophesy of his birth and the circumstances that surrounded his birth showed that he came to prove point to us.

“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shall call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” – Matthew 1:21

His ministry was so unique such that any one that came under his ministration with any infirmity must leave with testimony.

“And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.” Matthew 4:23

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Acts 10:38
The above two scriptural verses proves that Christ is indeed a redeemer and a restorer.

You cannot celebrate whom you don’t know anything of. Once again, who is Jesus to you?

Until you know who He is your celebration is in vain.

The Samaritans in John 4:42 recognise that fact that Jesus is the savior of mankind. The day they had encounter with him, they came acknowledged the ministry of Christ.

“And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying; for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the savior of the world.”

Who is Jesus to you?

This question still remains for you to answer. All you need do is to have a quiet time with yourself. Ask yourself, who is Jesus to me?

I believe you will come to full realization the fact that he is indeed Christ, ‘the savior of the world.’

Still wishing you Merry Christmas celebration
