The Saviour’s Yearning For The Young People

The Lord's yearning for the young people is so great. He desires not that they should perish. Neither does He wish they would be carried away by the decayed, worldly trends and practices of the world, which the adversary (the devil) is using to take them away from the centre of God's plan for their lives.

The Saviour’s Yearning For The Young People

Despite the earnest and passionate desire of God for the young people, the devil also is tremendously devising to deceive them. He uses any chance, no matter how little it may look like  to do mischief on these young people. He gathers his agents, he employs any principle and uses any body to take these young people from the grip of God. He uses their phones, laptops and all these social networks to accomplish his three major works - to kill, steal and to destroy.

But, many are ignorant of the fact that the devil has a contrary plan for their lives and future. They are carried away when the devil tempts them on quick ways to get rich and become affluent and known in the community. The devil makes them to feel high and uncontrollable by their godly parents. This is unfortunate!  Most of them have been trapped therein.

They have forgotten that they have a Saviour. His name is Jesus!
Jesus is the Saviour of the world - the whole universe. The Bible declares it. The Father and the Holy Spirit affirms it. In Him, there's no darkness at all. He is the one and only Saviour and Redeemer. You can only come to the Father, only through Him.

The Scripture declares that He is the way, the truth and the life (John 14:6). No one, including the young person can be saved, unless such an one embraces Him and His free offer of salvation. He alone has the ability to save and deliver from sin.

Many of these young people thought their church attendance, participation in church activities like singing, doing ushering work or even preaching is an indication that they are saved. But, they are still living in sin. They still watch dirty pictures, smoke, tell lies and cheat their parents and involve themselves in examination malpractices and other dubious businesses.

Nevertheless, Jesus is still interested in their souls. He want to give everyone freedom and liberation from the slavery of Satan. He can still do it, even now! He has "come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly" (John 10:10b).

Today is the day of your salvation - no more delay! There's great danger of neglecting God's call now that you are alive. Accept Him today, depend on Him and trust in Him for the sufficiency of His grace and power to live a life pleasing to Him.

He had paid the price. Salvation is free. Confess your sins and forsake them. There's a fountain for your redemption, when sinners plunge therein, they are purged. Don't delay.
Escape for your life. Escape to Mount Calvary - your freedom is sure and guaranteed.

It's time to answer the songwriter's question:
"Are you washed . . . in the blood,
In the soul-cleansing blood of the Lamb?
Are your garments spotless? Are they white as snow?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
