Powerful women in the Bible that were barren

Life does not smile at everybody at the same time. At a time some people are rejoicing, others are languishing in pain and regret.
Powerful women in the Bible that was barren Life does not smile at everybody at the same time. At a time some people are rejoicing, others are languishing in pain and regret. There are many people today who became pregnant few months after wedding while others spend many years waiting on the Lord for the same purpose. The scripture recorded some of these women therefore; we are going to look at some powerful women who waited on the Lord for many years for child birth in the Bible days. 1. Sarah: “Now Sarai Abram’s wife bare him no children…” Genesis 16:1 2. Rebecca: “And Isaac entreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was entreated for him, and Rebecca his wife conceived.” Genesis 25:21 3. Rachael: “And when Rachael saw that she bare Jacob no children, Rachael envied her sister; and said unto Jacob, Give me children, or else I die.” Genesis 30:1 4. Hannah: “But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but the LORD had shut up her womb.” 1 Samuel 1:5 5. Elizabeth: “And they had no child, because that Elizabeth was barren, and they both were now well stricken in years.” Luke 1:7 The positive part is that, at the end, God answered them and grant them that which they requested of Him. Are you waiting on the Lord for a child or children? Never loose hope. He will grant your request at the set time. “…all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.” Job 14:14
