10 God's Promises for the New Year

Every New Year is seen as a fresh opportunity to conquer the lost battle and to some it is a period of facing serious battle for success. But whatever be your case, be rest assured that Christ has paid the price for our redemption.

In this short post, I want to remind you that you need not to be worried because the Lord is in front of  you in the battle and He will give you  victory at the end.

Here are some of the scriptural passages that will encourage you to constantly look unto God for victory and sustenance in this coming year.

1. "I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:" Isaiah 45:2

2. "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters." Psalm 23:1-2

3. "But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day." Deuteronomy 8:18

4. "When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee." Isaiah 43:2

5. ""Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out."Deuteronomy 28:6

6.  "For the LORD thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee."
Deuteronomy 15:6

7.  "There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil." Exodus 23:26

9.  "“You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, who has dealt wondrously with you. And my people shall never again be ashamed." Joel 2:26

10. "And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you." Joel 2:25

Pray on these promises and claim them for the rest of the New Year.
