People that changed their destiny in the Bible through Prayer

So many people have resolve to take their fate as they see it forgetting that they can rewrite their history no matter the odd.

So many people have resolve to take their fate as they see it forgetting that they can rewrite their history no matter the odd. Many people in the old and even in the contemporary have changed their story through conscious and serious prayer. Prayer changes all things. The earlier we discover the importance of prayer the better for us. A prayer said; ‘To enjoy miracles, you must be prayerful.’ No miracle is a product of sluggishness. In this post, we are going to discover few people among many in the scripture that changed their history through prayer. One thing is sure; God cannot forsake those that come to Him with a sincere heart. Many people still think that manna will fall from heaven as it did in the olden days, but nay, it will not happen again. Read what Jesus told his disciples in John 16:24; “Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.” Those that seek God for change in their life include: Jacob: Gen 32:25-29 “ Now when He saw that He did not prevail against him, He touched the socket of his hip; and the socket of Jacob's hip was out of joint as He wrestled with him. And He said, "Let Me go, for the day breaks. But he said, I will not let You go unless You bless me! So He said to him, What is your name? He said, Jacob. And He said, Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel;* for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed. Then Jacob asked, saying, Tell me Your name, I pray. And He said, Why is it that you ask about My name? And He blessed him there.” Hannah: 1 Sam 1:10-20 In bitterness of soul Hannah wept much and prayed to the Lord. And she made a vow, saying, "O Lord Almighty, if you will only look upon your servant's misery and remember me, and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the Lord for all the days of his life, and no razor will ever be used on his head." As she kept on praying to the Lord, Eli observed her mouth. Hannah was praying in her heart, and her lips were moving but her voice was not heard. Eli thought she was drunk and said to her, "How long will you keep on getting drunk? Get rid of your wine." "Not so, my lord," Hannah replied, "I am a woman who is deeply troubled. I have not been drinking wine or beer; I was pouring out my soul to the Lord. Do not take your servant for a wicked woman; I have been praying here out of my great anguish and grief. Eli answered, "Go in peace, and may the God of Israel grant you what you have asked of him. She said, "May your servant find favor in your eyes." Then she went her way and ate something, and her face was no longer downcast. Early the next morning they arose and worshiped before the Lord and then went back to their home at Ramah. Elkanah lay with Hannah his wife, and the Lord remembered her. So in the course of time Hannah conceived and gave birth to a son. She named him Samuel, saying, "Because I asked the Lord for him." Jabez: 1 Chron 4:9-10 Jabez was more honorable than his brothers. His mother had named him Jabez, saying, "I gave birth to him in pain." Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, "Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain." And God granted his request. You too can be another person. You don’t get your problem solved through complain but through prayers. What many people do not know is that prayer is the only force that changes everything. And God cannot do anything until the living on earth prayer because we obtain whatsoever we desire through prayers. Resolve today to be the man that God will visit today. Thank you for reading this post.

Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.”

Those that seek God for change in their life include:

Jacob: Gen 32:25-29 “ Now when He saw that He did not prevail against him, He touched the socket of his hip; and the socket of Jacob's hip was out of joint as He wrestled with him.
