How To Win In Prayer

According the Pastor and founder of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, ‘To win in prayer, preparation is the key.’

How To Win In Prayer According the Pastor and founder of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, ‘To win in prayer, preparation is the key.’ During his teaching on the August edition of the church programme with the theme: “Winning with Prayer” he pointed out four key areas where seekers of God must be prepared for before appearing before Him in prayer so that their prayers will not be hindered. 1. Winning with obedience - 2 Corinthians 10:6, 1 Peter 3:13. “And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when you obedience is fulfilled.” 2 Corinthians 10:6 Obedience is the gateway to answers in prayers without sweat. Obedience disarms the devil without tears. Obedience shortens the distance to your miracle. The good of the land is accessible to all but obtainable by the obedient few - Isaiah 1:19. - Answers to your prayer comes without sweat when your obedience is in line. 2. Winning with love - Matthew 22:37. “Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.” Matthew 22:37 Love is another channel of reaching God without speaking a word. Love connection provides unlimited access to God. Your prayer gets automatic answers when you demonstrate love - 1 Corinthians 2:9 Struggle stops when love is in place. You get a result without sweat when you walk in love because God is love. 3. Winning with imagination: When imagination is negative, supplication becomes frustrating. You must win in your mind to win in the world. Imagination is a provoker of divine intervention. God responds to your thoughts the same way He responds to your words. Your mind must be in line with Words of God to win in prayer. 4. Winning with action - 1 Samuel 2:3. “Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogance come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by Him actions are weighed.” 1 Samuel 2:3 Your disposition and action reach God just like your words. You cannot look poor and become rich. Until you think and act successful, you cannot be a success. The weight of your action determines the response that you get from Heaven. Act well and you will live well – James 2:8. Your action today determines where you will end tomorrow.
